Some years ago, while one of us developed software as a consultant for a firm
producing biochemical analyzers, he was asked to transform an automatic
analyzer for Clinical Chemistry into an analyzer for wines.
He developed a software completely new that enabled this instrument to be
used for wine with small modifications to the hardware: it was named
Enochem and it is still on the market.
After that, the same distributor for Enochem spoke about an analyzer for
the tartaric stability of wines: it was the birthday of the Crio, which is
still in production.
