The instrument designer frequently faces the buy or make problem:
normally the components he finds on-the-shelf are not exactly what he
needs, but they are ready and their cost is well known at design time.
Oddly enough, we took a completely different approach: we decided to design
our components from scratch because we felt that too many components on the market
were not exactly what we needed. And we felt too that there is much to be
done in the component market.
This is why we decided to add an OEM section to our production line: we know
our products because we use them. We are sure that can fit many other instruments
like ours.
Our philosophy can be summarized in the simple principle simpler
is better that is strictly applied to every aspect of the design
and engineering of our OEM parts.
In the OEM field, simplicity matters: it turns out into simpler components
that cost less and last longer. And are simpler to integrate into complex
assemblies.
